Podcasts/Files
Many of us here in South Berwick have wanted a public access channel or a podcast of various South Berwick municipal and MSAD 35 school board meetings. This is an attempt at doing just that. It is privately owned and operated and not affiliated with the municipal Town of South Berwick.
What is a Podcast? It's an audio file, usually a .mp3 file, that you can download and play on your computer or portable device. (Like an ipod) In addition to being able to download these files, you can also listen to or view them here. It's fairly easy to navigate around this area of South Berwick Update but if you have any questions or problems, drop me a line and I'll help you figure it out.
Note: For better sound quality turn down the bass and turn up the treble on your playback device. Files posted on or after 8/1/09 should not need tone adjustment.The files names are the type of meeting, the dates they were held, and the file number. (TC07130901 is TC = town council, 071309 = July 13, 2009, 01 = the first file or part of the meeting. TM060110 is Town Meeting June 1st 2010.) When you hold your mouse cursor over a file name or folder, a tag will pop up with a description of what the file is or what the folder contains.
You'll find audio files, town council supporting documents, information on LD1, the town charter, various things pertaining to the MSAD 35 school district, and other documents. Please take some time and look around. I'll be regularly adding content here. You'll also see podcast index pages where audio files are listed by topic.
